According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's foreign trade performed steadily in the first two months of 2025, with a total goods trade volume reaching 6.54 trillion yuan (approximately $912.07 billion). This is a 1.2% decrease from last year, but excluding "incomparable factors" indicates a 1.7% year-on-year growth.
Exports rose by 3.4% to 3.88 trillion yuan, while imports decreased by 7.3% year on year.
In terms of trading partners, ASEAN, the EU, and the US were the top three in the first two months.
